Braydon Bexton, known by his artist name Username (stylized as username), is a Vancouver-based musician and producer recognized for blending electronic, ambient, lo-fi, and experimental sounds into genre-defying, captivating compositions. With a focus on analog textures, intricate production, and emotive melodies, username's music fuses forward-thinking approaches with timeless influences, particularly drawing on the cultural legacies of Black dance music. His latest project, “god bless”, has garnered over 17,000 streams on Spotify, driven primarily by organic social media buzz. In 2023 and 2024, username took the stage at numerous shows across Vancouver, including Music Waste 2024, both as username and as part of his side project RTCB2020, a collaboration with another local artist. With a growing collection of singles, EPs, and collaborations, username is rapidly establishing a unique voice in the evolving landscape of contemporary music.
