ADAM

ADAM is a multi-disciplinary artist based in “Vancouver”, BC. Using sound as a narrative tool and samples as a collapsing of time, their sets focus on experimental, referential, and emotive storytelling. Inspired by their heritage, ADAM interweaves Black and Chinese post-modernist sound from trance, to gqom, to ambient, to club, and beyond. ADAM’s sound is frenetic, euphoric, sub-heavy, and hard-hitting. With a heavy focus on sound design and by mutating through genres, time, and space, ADAM’s sets take you on a sonic journey exploring themes of resistance, freedom, and dancefloor awakenings.
