clara is a live visual art project tracing and flipping brutal histories of art in service of power: a bodily engagement of the brain, re-learning how to see in glances, revealing through noise desire. Her projections range from VJ lineages of video sampling (video art/internet culture), video feedbacking and live cameras, to custom-coded visual synthesizers (C++/GLSL), real-time digital codec corruption, and lag — an amalgam of reprogrammed aesthetics as performance tools that long, fail, dislodge, and respond to the currents of anti-intellectualism, alienation and performativity.
